Heartfelt condolences to Lisa,Michael & family,
On March 15/22 I lost a dear friend of many years.Joan was caring ,loving & a straight shooter! That’s what I admired most.
She was a force to be reckoned with.Joan was funny, loved to cook, do crafts & loved her animals.Joan was truly one of a kind.
After meeting her soul mate Michael she was the happiest I’ve seen her in years.❤️
As Joan fought her battle with cancer, we became closer during theses final months and I am forever thankful for that time.
My friend you will be missed & in my heart forever until we meet again .
Love Your Friend
Maureen ❤️

Mike and Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss. Joan was a wonderful lady and made me laugh every time I ran into her. I hope to be half as vibrant as she was as I age through the years. She was an inspiration to us all.

Although I only met her a few times but each time was so memorable. Joan made me laugh and also made the best Chicken Jalapeno Dip and cheese balls! I will treasure the recipes she shared with me and think of her when I prepare them. We also had a mutual love of dogs and shared each other photos of our "fur babies". I will miss her wonderful posts on facebook and the updates of her adventures. Fly high sweet angel you will be missed.
Our deepest and sincere condolences to Adair, Paul, Alexis and Blake. May you keep all the wonderful memories close to your heart and hope they sustain you all through this difficult time.
Love Linda and Bob Whitehead

Lisa and Family,
So sorry to read about your Mom’s passing! Every time I would see Joan over the years she always took an interest in what was going on in my family and work life and would keep me up to date on yours as well. There were many long conversations in the aisles at Sobeys or wherever we happened to meet.

Words escape us as we can’t believe you are gone. Mom will miss you and your afternoon phone calls that kept her company during lonely times. I ( Michele) will miss my friend and confidante and will always be saddened by the circumstances that kept us apart these last few years. Give everyone a hug for us until we all meet again. My deepest condolences to Lisa, Mike, and the whole family.
I’ve had the most amazing privilege to have known Joan for almost my entire life. She’s made me laugh and smile so much and I will cherish those memories forever.
Joan had the greatest knack for always being able to compliment someone and make them feel like absolute royalty. She always made me feel like I was a star on this earth and I could be anything I ever wanted to be.
Joan’s love was unconditional and just so perfect. She could brighten even the roughest of days. ❤️❤️
If I could tell her one last thing, it would be this…
“Thank You Joan. For all the joy you have brought to myself and my family. You are so very special to us and will never be forgotten. You gave me confidence and smiles that will be with me forever. Please rest easy and I look to the day when we shall all be together again. Laughing, Loving, and just being Mental!”
All my Love.
Terry.
