Many years ago Bob and Barbara started to attend Kingsway Assembly. From their first visit they sat in the second row and that’s where you could always find them whenever the doors were open. They sat side by side, always lovingly and with great care for each other. They were true encouragers to us as their Pastor and family. When they were moving to Merritt Hill and our daughter was setting up her first apartment, they generously gave her household items that she enjoys till this day. In the past year we were privileged to have them in our congregation at the Kings Way Care Center. Bob was so faithful at the Wednesday morning Hymn Sing and he would be the first to arrive, from upstairs, to join his beautiful Barb. We will miss this gentle, kind friend.
We are thinking of all of his family this morning with our love and prayers. Pastor Doug and Marie Moore

To all Family Barbara and I extend our heartfelt Sympathy. So very sadden to hear of Bro. Bob's passing. Saw him just before Covid struck at Costco. As always that warm smile and all was OK. We had so many wonderful meals at their home in East Riverside and then at their final home at Merritt Hill. How Bob and Barb loved the Sing Songs we had here. Baptisms on our Beach. When Bruce and Tracey were small they wanted to know if they could use our Beach. We were pleased for them to come. Back then we had a Houseboat. No Fridge in it but had running water. One day we came home to a large beautiful Canadian Tire Cooler. Top of the line. Nothing else. Boy it was a winner. We still have and use it. Think of them every time I load it up. Then we were building on our Garage and we were looking for a Steel Door to come in the back entrance. Bob had just the thing. They had replaced the door they had as Barb wanted a window in it. Thus we still have it and always will. Special memory. I could go on but we are thankful for the Memories and all our good times. We were Blessed to have had them in our lives. Bob was of stellar Character. TRUE stellar Character. He is out of pain and discomfort. He has Graduated and he did do with High Honours. Blessings to each of you.
In His Grip

I am so sorry to hear of your loss! I knew Barb and Bob for several years, especially from Kings Valley Wesleyan, when we both attended there, and Kings Way Assembly, where we sat together in church. Bob was a kind, gentle man who had an amazing testimony, who loved the Lord and loved people! I am sure both he and Barb touched many lives over their years. May the Lord’s comfort be with all of Bob’s family as you mourn his passing and celebrate the memories of a life well lived!! Bev Cole

We met Bob and Barb when they started attending Kings Way Assembly, and quickly grew to admire them and enjoy their company. Together, or individually, they evoked the same reaction when you saw them, a big smile, a sincere greeting, and a hug. Bob had a strong but gentle spirit and was so dedicated to Barb. Our sincere condolences to the family. He will be missed. Praying that the peace and strength that Bob knew in Jesus, will be yours too, and comfort you through this time. Trena and Ken Moore

My late husband and I met Bob and Barb at a birthday celebration. A dear couple so in love and so engaging. Over the years we attended the same church...loved their hugs! Bob was a gentle soul who truly loved his family and his God. His talent as a painter was unbelievable..an eye for detail. I will miss him. May his memories and faith bring you great comfort.
