Obituary of Dawson Douglas Sealy
The death of Dawson Douglas Sealy of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Lorraine (Lavigne) Sealy, occurred on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Bathurst, NB on March 10, 1952, he was a son of Ivy (Buttimer) and the late Leigh Sealy.
Dawson was employed with Irving Oil for several years until 2012. Then after a brief retirement, began working as project manager for Innovatia. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and downhill skiing. Dawson was a member of the Project Management Institute for several years.
Besides his wife, Dawson is survived by his children; Scott Sealy of Saint John, and Dr. Sasha Sealy (Jim Kane) of Quispamsis; sister, Leeanna Morrison (Glen) of Bathurst, NB; grandchildren, Grayson and Isla Kane.
He was predeceased by his brother, Peter Sealy.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119), with visiting on Sunday, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 from Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment to take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation, would be appreciated.
