My thoughts and prayers go to Brian's family. I worked with Brian for a number of years before his retirement. I never had the opportunity to tell Brian this but a number of conversations he and I had over the years have contributed to me being in my current role. While working with Brian to help him with our new computer system he and I would talk alot about improvements and ideas which I have been think alot about in my newest role. Thank you Brian for the motivation and memories!

Im very saddened to read about Brians passing. I worked with Brian from 1993-1998 at Thornes. Being 30 years old at the time with two small daughters and trying to build a house, Brian had lots of great advice for me such as only put in a 40 gallon hot water tank so your wife and daughters will get out of the shower when the hot water runs out. However, my best memory of Brian was running into him at a gas station early on a Sunday morning when I was looking for a 1 ½ ABS Elbow, which the gas station did not have. (and hardware stores were not open on Sundays yet). 30 minutes later Brian showed up at my construction site with the required elbow from his house, but in a brand new paper bag with the top neatly folded and stapled. I offered a tour but he said no, no
Ill let you get back to work. After moving to the Point Lepreau Generating Station I still called Brian to identify valves since all he needed was a logo or model number and he could tell you who made it, where it was made and, almost, what day of the week it was made on! Very smart man. My condolences to Christina and family.
