Obituary of Iva Mae Bradley
It is with heavy hearts the family of Iva Mae Bradley of Browns Flat, loving wife of Leverett Bradley, announce her passing at St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Born in Moncton on May 5, 1928, she was a daughter of the late George and Georgie (McBrien) Wetmore.
Iva lived a long and rewarding life, her joys being her family, her church and service to others both near and far. She spent many happy years volunteering at Hepzibah Children's home in Georgia. Iva presented herself with grace and elegance both inside and out. Her last years were spent in silence but with a flicker in her eyes and a warm hug she still reached out to others.
In addition to her husband Leverett, Iva will be deeply missed by her children: Stephen (Heather) Bradley, Ken (Linda) Bradley and Sue (Burton) White; grandchildren Heidi (Brad) LeRoy, Drew (Joy) Bradley, S.J. (Sarah) Bradley, Amos Bradley, Jacob (Sheena) Bradley; Megan White (Cody McGaffin) , Chapin (Brianne) White and Caleb White (Ashlie Spalding) ; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister Lois Faulkner, sister-in-law Ruth Banks, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Iva was predeceased by her grandson Zachary; siblings Elmer Wetmore, Beulah Garland, Luella Cameron and sister-in-law Lois Mitchell.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119), with visitation on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 2-5 PM. The funeral service will be held from Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Iva may be made to Gideons Bibles, World Hope Canada or the Zachary White Foundation for Tutoring.
