Obituary of Murray Vincent Austin
We sadly announce the passing of Murray Vincent Austin on July 2, 2018 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital, in the loving arms of his partner Shirley Jones and surrounded by family. Born in Saint John, NB on September 4, 1948 he was the older son of the late Lorne Langin Austin and the late Marie Elizabeth (Fudge) Austin.
Murray is survived by his son, Michael of Quispamsis (son of Judy Austin, of Calgary), daughter, Michelle (Keith) Johnston of Calgary; grandsons, Matthew Murray and Christopher Terence, both of Calgary; siblings: Anna (Freeman) Fudge, Lorna (Reg) Arbeau, and Robert (Tammy Best); and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM with the funeral service to follow in the Chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances in memory of Murray may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
