Obituary of Stana Jonsson

It is with heavy hearts the family of Stana Jonsson of Quispamsis announce her passing on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Dathi Jonsson, with whom she shared 24 years together. Born in Valjevo, Serbia on January 8, 1971 she was the daughter of Dragomir and Dragica Jakovljevic. She is predeceased by her mother Dragica who she adored dearly. In addition to her husband and father, Stana will be deeply missed by her children Anita and Stefan Jonsson; brother, Zoran Jakovljevic, and many relatives and friends. Anita and Stefan were her pride and joy. She cherished every moment they spent together. Stana enjoyed gardening, baking, and simply spending quality time with her friends and family. Stana was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (849-2119) with visitation on Friday, May 4th from 4pm to 6pm. In keeping with Stana's wishes there will be a funeral service held in Serbia at a later date.
