Obituary of Peter John Lang

It is with great sadness the family of Peter John Lang announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on February 28, 2018. Born in Saint John, NB on April 1, 1951 he was a son of the late John E. and Mae (Goguen) Lang. Peter enjoyed spending time with his friends and family at Tim Hortons. He had a passion for nature and could often be found Uptown on walks. Before retirement, he worked as a pipefitter for many years. Peter is survived by his daughter Michelle (Jon) Standring; siblings, Glenda (Walter) Cummings and Michael Lang; nieces, Jennifer and Krista; nephew Matthew; and his Rifle Rangers family whom he cherished since he was a young boy. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Chris. The family would like to extend special thanks of appreciation to the staff at Crow's Nest Manor. Your kindness, compassion and care will never be forgotten. As per Peter's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of NB or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
