Obituary of John Andrew Hart
It is with heavy hearts that the family of John Andrew Hart announce his death which occurred peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Shannex, Embassy Hall, Quispamsis.
Born on April 20, 1939 in Saint John, NB, he was a son of the late Rev. Canon William and Beatrice (Wilson) Hart.
John was the owner and operator of John Hart Ltd. Construction. He took great pride in his work and craftsmanship. He retired in 2012, after building countless homes in the Kennebecasis Valley.He was a hardworking man who also enjoyed gardening, winemaking, and photography. John was also a member of the vestry at St. Luke's Anglican Church.
Survived by his children; Heather McNeil (David) of Quispamsis, John E. Hart of Nunavut, Aaron Hart (Sarah) of Rothesay, Lorie Mills (John) of Guelph, Joy Mills (Richard) of Quispamsis, & ward Jon Henderson of Rothesay. Grandchildren; Jessica Baglole, Lindsey McNeil, Jacob Craig, Adam McNeil, Olivia Barrie, Austin Hart, Emily Barrie, and Thomas Hart, first wife June Madill, second wife Heather Hart, brothers Bill Hart (Sandra) of Norton, Stephen Hart (Barb) of Douglas & David Hart (late Anne) of Dartmouth, as well as several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his brother Peter Hart (Alexis) & sister-in-law Anne.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Monday, February 12 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 12 Quispamsis Road, on Tuesday, February 13 at 1:00 PM. Interment to take place at St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to St. Luke's Anglican Church, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
