I knew Lloyd during the 1950s after he had finished a 3 year stint in the RCAF. He was one of the better baseball players in SJ during his era. Also, a role model to me (8 years younger). Through his encouragement, I too joined the RCAF, in 1958, and spent 37 years serving Canada. I have many nice memories of my time with him. Condolences to the family and may he rest in peace.

To the Smith family sorry for your loss. Lloyd was a great guy and co-worked. We worked Security Pt. Lepreau late 70's early 80's. Being a hockey and baseball player that was all we talked and of coarse family. In his 50's he became a lineman I thought wow what a guy. RIP in Peace Lloyd. God Loves you.
