Paulette and Family - Please accept my sincere condolences on Peter’s passing. I spent a lot of time with Peter and he always expressed his love and devotion for his entire family. He was so proud of his sons and their accomplishments. His love for Paulette was evident every day. He was a mentor to me and so many others, opening doors to so many successful careers. He had a “Can Do” attitude and when Peter was part of a complex situation nothing was impossible. He did nothing in half measures, if he was part of any project large or small he was in it 100%. Comfortable in a farmer’s barn, discussing a crop loss or the largest boardrooms, discussing multi-million-dollar claims, every person got his full attention and respect. He had a knack for finding something positive even in the darkest situations. We traveled together all-over Atlantic Canada and the Eastern States and every trip was an advanced tutorial in dealing with issues and people. Later in my career we drifted apart, but when I ran into him the conversation picked up where it left off, as if we had been talking just the day before. The world was a better place with Peter in it and learning he is gone is indeed a sad day. Rest in Peace Friend.

Paulette and you family and extended family: please accept my sincere condolences in Peter's passing. I recall Peter as being very active in choral circles, from the Friars Sisters' "Big Choir" in their "Celebrate" fundraisers for various charitable organizations within the Greater Saint John area as well as being in the kitchen during Cursillo weekends wearing his "didjeatyet" apron stirring up sauces for spaghetti and other meals during weekends.
Peter was a dynamo involving himself quietly behind the scenes to make sure that everything ran smoothly. His Tenor voice was a much-needed addition to St.Mark's Choir.
His many extra-curricular activities definitely were the better for having him working on the various projects as well as being a good father and neighbour. He will definitely be missed. Please be gentle with yourselves during this difficult time.

Dear Mrs. Bourque and Family,
Peter's passing comes as quite a shock as he has been a vibrant member of the choir at St Mark's only weeks ago. Peter was always the first to arrive each week. He'd unlock the doors, set up the mics, open the piano, and lead us in the most beautiful and thoughtful prayers. He was so kind and welcoming to me from day one and I will never forget him. I'm so sorry for your loss.

To the entire Bourque family;
Steepleview Developments Inc. (Steepleview Apartments) is rising from the ground on Cliff St. simply put, because of Peter's dedication to the housing needs of the less fortunate. Peter worked tiredlessly with the board to develop St. Vincent's High School and facing too many challanges he focused his energy on Steepleview.
We, the board of directors, are better beclause of Peter's sincerity, energy, beliefs and support to " get the job done"! That Housing Development will stand as a memorial to Peter and his belief in helping others. I personally, and the board at large are better for having Peter in our lives and with us on this mixed housing development.
We will always hold Peter in our thoughts and prayers and we will always reflect on the fact that Peter played such a big part in making the project a reality.
May Peter rest in peace.
