Obituary of Mark Philip Dawe

It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of Mark Philip Dawe, husband of More (Yang) Dawe, announce his passing on Friday July 19, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and friends. 

Born on January 14,1982, in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, he is the son of Cyril and Violet (Smart) Dawe. Mark was employed as a Mechanical Engineer in Ontario for several years, before he and More moved to Quispamsis in 2017, and working at Point Lepreau. Mark was loyal, respectful, humble, and gentle-hearted, with a remarkable character. 

Mark loved listening to all kinds of music, especially country. He enjoyed watching show and movies, particularly documentaries, and he also had a passion for playing video games and cars. Mark will be missed by all who knew him. 

Besides his wife, More and his parents, Cyril and Violet of Newfoundland. His cat Wilbur as well as his extended family and few close friends. Mark is pre-deceased by his grandparents; Leslie and Clarice Smart, Philip and Beatrice Dawe, and his uncle Robert Gordon Smart.

In keeping with Mark’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (5066-849-2119), Donations in memory of Mark an be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Saint John Regional Hospital, or to a local charity of one's choice.
