Debbie and Paul and families, my sincere condolences on the loss of your mum. I have very fond memories of the many back and forth visits over the years. I loved your mum's sense of humour as she tortured me regularly. She was so full of life and humour. I know we hadn't seen each other for years but I think of your folks often.

Carol was a special lady with a good sense of humor. We always had a fun loving time when decorating the church at Rothesay Baptist. Carol always made everyone welcome when visiting her home or cottage. She will be missed. Hugs and prayers to her family.

Sending my condolences to Carol’s family. She was my Dad’s (Glenn Whittaker) cousin. He spoke of Carol often. I met Carol at the last Withers reunion. I probably had met her years ago as Dad stayed in close contact with the Withers clan. She was definitely an amazing woman.

I send my condolences to you all- When Carol was a young girl she made many memories of her Mother’s homestead (the Withers) in Fairfield, N. B. and they were always close to her heart. She was the integral one to dig and find out about our ancestors-just as Vernon was with his Graves family. My late husband-Laurance who grew up with her loved to tease her and she could give it right back. Just as she treasured memories so will you and she will always remain in our hearts.

Our deepest sympathies to all the family in the loss of your dear Carol. We have fond memories of both Vernon and Carol when they just lived down the road from us in Norton. Carol was working at Sussex Hospital and they attended our Norton Baptist Church. Carol said “ If you see me with a hat on, I did not have time to do my hair”. We always enjoyed their visits, so too, she will be missed by all who had the privilege of meeting her. Our thoughts and prayers.

As a boy, Carol was a wonderful Cub Leader to us. She always had encouraging words & was strong, with a compassionate heart. In my early teen years, she continued to be immersed with St. John Ambulance Cadets, where I learned so much from her. In High School and throughout University, I fully enjoyed volunteering with her on the first Ambulance in the Quispamsis area. Carol had such an influence on the person I am today. Praying for your family. You will be solely missed.

My deepest condolences in the loss of Carol. She was a kind, gentle lady, strong in her faith. She loved a good joke and laugh, with a twinkle in her eye. When you would bump into Carol and Syd, you would always leave chuckling, but also, having had a lovely hug. May she rest in peace in the arms of her loved ones.
