To my dearest Tiffany
Your mom was a shining example of all moms. She was ALWAYS inviting and accepting of any of us that showed up...we could stay as long as we wanted as long as we weren't noisy at 3am. She was happy when we played the same tunes over and over on the piano for hours, she was happy when we dressed crazy and acted something out, she was happy when we dropped in for a swim at the beach, went shopping with her, did any and all crafts, and art in your basement. She did the best French braids for little house on the Prarie plays.
She was everyone's second mom and the world is a little darker without her smile and laugh and energy. Please accept this virtual hug and I'll see you very soon. Love Lesley, Mike, and Mya

Jane and her parents and brothers were all associated with Exmouth St. Church, as were my parents and sisters. Over the years, we didn't see a lot of each other, but in early November 2022, a group of eight of us gathered at Vito's in Rothesay for a mini reunion. The group was made up of gals who are roughly the same age and we were all members of the Church as well as CGIT and/or Junior Choir. It was such a special afternoon for all of us, especially since most of us have been known to each other since very early years. These days are sad for everyone, but our memories are lasting and bring comfort.
Rest peacefully, Jane.

It was great privilege to have Jane as a friend. We have been friends since the day we set foot in the SJRH, over 60 years ago. Great memories of living in Boston with Jane. Whenever we got together it was always like no time had passed , she was a great person and will be missed by family and friends. Thinking of all the family at this time. Pat and Jim McLean

I am so sorry to hear of Jane's passing. I don't think I ever saw her that she wasn't smiling. She was so talented and so very kind, and she and Bud raised two remarkable children. She has left a wonderful legacy for her family, her friends, and her neighbors.

I remember shortly after I moved here 30 years ago lying on a gurney in a hallway at the Regional in a haze of kidney stone pain and drugs waiting for an x-ray. Jane came and found me and was so lovely and reassuring. I never forgot her kindness during what was an otherwise horrible experience. I like to think it was because she recognized me but I think she was probably that way with most patients. Jane was born on my own mother's 20th birthday; I never knew that.
My condolences to the White family and to all who loved Jane.

Mark and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Jane's sudden passing. I can't remember a time when Jane hasn't been part of my life. As the best friend of my older sister, Joan, Jane was a constant part of my early life. I don't think I'd ever have passed Home-Ec if she hadn't helped me with every zipper. When I was in Hi-Y, Jane gave a career talk to our Club and at least one of our members followed in her footsteps to become an X-Ray Technician. She was Maid of Honor at my sister's wedding and she and Bud were frequent visitors to their home outside of Boston. When I worked at the General and at the Regiolnal, Jane was always there with a smile and a joke or a kind word if my teeth were chattering before some appendage was about to be x-rayed. We became reacquainted later in our lives when our son married into her familly; it was like it was meant to be. A visit to the beach on Long Reach was always a chance to catch up with Jane and Bud whose love of the Saint John River knew no bounds. I hope the many years of wonderful memories of this unique couple will sustain you in your time of grief.

To the White Family.
So sorry for your loss .
Jane was a great gal. She was one of my very first friends when I came to Canada more than 50 yrs ago. I will miss our frequent lengthy phone calls at which time we would set the whole world to rights.
She really missed Bud and I am sure that wherever they are they are having a grand reunion.
