Obituary of Kathleen Anne Warrington

It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of Kathleen Anne Warrington, of Quispamsis, announce her passing on January 1, 2024.

Born on June 25, 1969, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of Gerry O’Neill and the late Carol (Cobham). In her spare time Kathleen enjoyed spending time in her garden, going running, cooking family meals, and reading a good book. She loved being a mother and spending time with her family more than anything. When her kids were younger she was always volunteering for school events, field trips, and babysitting neighbourhood kids. Kathleen was a member of St. Mark’s Church where she taught Sunday school and found peace and solace in her life.

Kathleen is survived by her father, Gerry O’Neill; son Ethan of Rothesay, and daughter Brittaney Kearley-Boone (John Kearley) of Saint John; brothers, Greg (Ronnie-Sue) O’Neill of Sudbury, ON, and Michael O’Neill of Kingston, NB; sister, Lisa O’Neill of Halifax, NS; adored grandson Theodore Kearley; special friend, Arnold Aiton; former husband, John Warrington, several nieces, nephews, extended family and her cat, Monday. She was predeceased by her mother, Carol O’Neill in 2023.

Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119). In keeping with Kathleen’s wishes the visitation will be private. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 5th at 11am. For those who wish, donations to the SPCA, or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
