Obituary of Bill Green
It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of George William “Bill” Green, husband of the late Grace (Crowe) Green, announce his passing on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born on May 3, 1944, in Saint John, he was a son of the late George and Mildred (Ferguson) Green. Bill graduated from Saint John High School in 1964. He was then employed for many years with TD Bank and Shell Oil, retiring from working with construction. Bill then went on working with computers, where he was known as a computer whiz. Bill enjoyed camping with Grace and travelling around the Maritimes with their travel trailer for many years. He enjoyed reading, playing his guitar, his armchair sports, and helping people in any way he could.
Bill is survived by his sister Bette Doherty, sister in laws; Mary Snider (David) and Linda Pinches, nephews and nieces; Michael Doherty (Holly), Regan Doherty (Ben), Susan Melvin (Keith), Gary Snider (Ellen), Kim Snider (Kim), and Heather Snider, and many friends. Bill will be missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119) on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 11 AM. Interment to take place at Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Sussex Corner. For those who wish, donation in memory of Bill can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimer’s Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
