It’s very surreal and deeply sad that I am posting condolences and sharing my memories of my cousin Trevor. I am still in shock that he’s not with us anymore. Trevor had a smile and a laugh ( with an infectious wheezy note ) that had you in stitches. He was very kind and generous, there when you needed him and expected nothing in return - he truly appreciated his many friends and family. He was competitive and athletic , could give a little chirp in the spirit of the game and take one too. He was quick witted and I appreciated that. But I think of the many different qualities I could describe, being a wonderful Dad was his crowning glory. There’s a certain look of adoration, pride and sheer unshakable love that he had for Lydia , Adelyn and Quinn. He loved them infinitely. I know that he will forever live on in his beautiful daughters. To my dearest aunt Judy, Traci and Tricia , I’m keeping you all in my thoughts as you try to process your tremendous loss. I believe when your time on earth is over , we get to be reunited with our loved ones who have gone before us , to a place where there’s no sadness , suffering or sorrow. Until we meet again Trevor. I loved you.

The Maritime Champ. Trevor was part of our family, and we were always happy to have him. Trevor came into our lives when he was a young man in his 20’s. He came out west and met my dad (Dano) while playing hockey for the Calmar Cubs. Trevor thought he was passing through instead he ended up living with us. He became a fixture in our home. Trevor would take care of my sister and I; he was the best babysitter we ever had. He used to flatter our teachers and I swear it helped our grades. He made us all laugh and was always down for whatever. We spent a lot of time at the bowling alley on Sunday Fundays. We had many intense Yahtzee nights and like my sister Swamp said no one would celebrate a win like the Maritime Champ. Even though we were on the other side of the country. Trevor always tried to keep in touch and comment on our adventures as we were growing up. Its not often an entire family can share the same friend, but Trevor managed to keep space for each of us in his heart. His memory will live on, and we will always remember the Maritime Champ. Growing up I remember sitting around our family dining room table playing Yahtzee with my family (The Porodo’s) and Trevor. Getting a Yahtzee and running around the table and the living room.
