Sending our heartfelt sympathy to you all. Clayton and Jeannette were the best neighbours here in George Street. We were sad when your mom passed away and even sadder when your Dad decided to sell and move closer to the hub of the Valley. We truly missed his stories, and his annual fiddle head haul he would leave on our doorstep. Although we miss our fiddle head fairy, we hope you take comfort knowing he is ready to go sledding again with the love of his life! Deb and Cindy

To Roly, Danny, Jocelyn, Cathy and families:
We were sorry to hear of Clayton's passing.
He was a good friend of many years. We
would meet from time to time for car work or
whatever. I worked pumping gas for Clayton
shortly after he came to Saint John in 1957.
I was in high school at the time, lived
across the road from the White Rose
Service Station and remember having
earned 25 cents an hour.
I will always have fond memories of him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

I was so sorry to hear the passing of your wonderful father. We used to love seeing him come into Canadian Blood Service with such a big smile on a weekly basis and donate plasma. He saved many lives with each and every one of his donations We all had our favorite donors and your dad ranked right up there with the best of them. He will be forever missed.

Roly, Jocelyn, Danny, Cathy and all the family, our heartfelt condolences to go out to you for your loss. Clayton, like his brothers, was truly the best that you could meet anywhere. We'll always have good memories of Clayton and Jeanetta and especially for them helping me to settle in to the move to Rothesay in the early 70's. Our thoughts are with you now and in the coming days.

To all Clayton's Family: My deepest condolences . Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. Clayton and I go back quite a number of years when we both played for The Ken-Gent Oldtimers Hockey team. Those were some real fun times and one that will be always remembered. Following our both retirements, we became close Friends through regular visits and going to Seniors Skating sessions at the Q-Plex up until last year.
He sure was one of a kind that was unforgettable and truly cherish the years of Friendship we enjoyed.

What a great picture of Clayton! I grew up a few houses away from the Dayes on the Salmon River in Chipman. They had no girls in the family and I was an only child with no siblings, so Clayton's mother and father often invited me down to their house to learn to play Chinese Checkers and pick blueberries! Clayton and Rollie, being quite a bit older than me, would often return home to find me playing games with their mother, Pauline! She was like a mother to me! I am so sorry for your loss and wish to extend my deepest sympathy to the family. Many fond memories.
