Obituary of Bonnie Elaine Cote
It is with broken hearts that the family of Bonnie Cote, announces her passing which occurred on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on June 3, 1961, Bonnie was the daughter of the late Don Saunders and Joan (Black) Steeves.
During her working years, Bonnie worked as a secretary with Eastern Technical Services. She had a deep love of nature and animals. She is going to be remembered for her gentle ways with horses and her beloved cats, especially Lucky, who was her favourite. Bonnie was a devoted and loving mother to her only son, Jordan and then a proud grandmother of her two grandchildren. She was a hippy at heart and loved find solace outside, especially if the sun was shining, she was after all, always working on her tan. Bonnie loved to laugh and could find humour in any situation. Her family and friends are going to miss the sound of her laughter and her ways of making them laugh. She was an amazing mom and she truly cared about everyone.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Jordan; sister, Pauline; brothers, Robbie and Randy; beloved grandchildren, Clark and Everett; as well as several nieces, nephews, friends and fur babies. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Ricky.
Arrangements are under the care of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Rd. Quispamsis (506-849-2119). A burial service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 2pm, in St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery. For those who wish donations made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
