On Friday, July 28, 2023, Dora Helen (Katruk) Guidry, was reunited with her beloved husband J.E. Burton Guidry in Heaven.

Born on February 21, 1930, in Niagara Falls, ON, she was a daughter of the late George and Helen (Holowach) Katruk. Dora was a schoolteacher for many years. After Dora and Burton were married, she stayed home to raise her 3 children who she loved. She was caring and giving, helping many charities over the years. She enjoyed reading, crosswords, and loved watching her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren grow.

Dora is survived by her loving children, J. Barry Guidry (Laurie) of Calgary, AB, Mary Ellen Guidry of Onoway, AB, and Judith M. Hill (Steve) of Rothesay, special niece Anne Guidry of Grand Cayman, BWI, sister Anna Hackett, brother John Katruk, and her granddaughter Elisabeth Duplessis (David) of Saint John, who cared for her in her later years.  Also survived by seven beloved grandchildren, three great grandchildren, whom she adored, as well as several nieces, and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Besides her husband of 62 years, and parents, Dora is predeceased by her sister Mary Barbaza, and her beloved uncle Nester Barbaza.
