Heather and Families:
During our stay in Rothsay for approximately four years we had the good fortune of meeting Bob and Heather who lived in Chapel Hill Estates, just a skip and jump from our 1 Devonayer home. During this time we enjoyed a trip together to the Dominican Republic. That trip almost never happed as Bob fell and developed a cut on the head when loading luggage on the driveway. Thank goodness it wasn't too serious and away we went on that vacation.
We also made other memories with Bob, Heather and if I remember well with two of their grand-daughters to Campobello Island.
We were also fond of attending the yearly sing-a-long Christmas concerts at the Kings Church.
We extend our sincere condolences and share in your grief during this difficult times.
Emile and Pauline Brulotte - St. Albert, AB

My husband and I had the great fortune of knowing Bob and calling him "friend". Such a soft spoken, kind and generous man, he never demanded of others but instead gave support, compassion and kindness. Themworld is a little smaller without Bob in it. He will be sorely missed but always remembered fondly.
Blessings to Heather and family.

Condolences to all Bob Mabey's Family. My husband and I enjoyed many happy times at the bridge and dinner table at Bob and Heather's home when they lived in Cap Bimet. He always ignored Heather's card advice and usually he and Richard won the game even though Heather told them they payed the wrong cards. Then the men would have a great laugh at the women's expense.
In my experience Bob had a wicked sense of humour and was a kind and thoughtful sense of humour. He will be missed.
Affectionately,
Maxine Trynor

I had the pleasure of coaching Bob during my career at UNBSJ. As an older student-athlete and with more gray hair at the time, people often assumed he was the coach on our travels and we usually did not tell them the difference. It often came as a shock when he would " shoot the lights out. " As good a player as he was, he was an even better "kid" to coach. He was a great credit to the campus. You have my deepest sympathies for your loss. Bob Bonnell

Heather, you and Bob and your family were always kind and attentive to Mom. He always had a happy, friendly greeting for us. He's been another of the fine 'fixtures' at King's (Valley) and will be missed. My hugs to you and pray that the service this week will be a blessing to you, and to all. (I'm in Ontario, or I certainly would attend.)

Heather and family. We are so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. We celebrate with you his reward of heaven. How grief and joy are a juxtaposition. Your family has been so dear to us through the years. Your generosity and kindness have been a blessing to us. As we are on our anniversary trip I remember fondly our 2nd wedding reception at your home that you so graciously opened to us. We were so grateful and I remember more about that reception than our formal one <3. Hold strong to your family and friends and we will be praying for you all as you walk through the next days. Love to you ❤️
