Obituary of Paul Trueman Parlee
Grateful for a life well lived, the family of Paul Trueman Parlee, announce his passing, which occurred on Sunday February 5, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born on February 21, 1941, in Sussex, NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Kathleen (Duncan) Parlee.
Paul worked as a Labourer and for the Saint John Port Police for many years. He was a member of the congregation of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Quispamsis. Paul and Alice resided at Gondola Point since 1973. He and his family spent many years boating on the beautiful Belleisle Bay.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Alice V. (Chambers) Parlee, his daughter Peggy Bogle (Bill) of Quispamsis, Jeffrey Parlee (Angela) of Erb’s Cove, three grandchildren; Courtenay Dort (Troy) of Bermuda, Katherine, and Alex Bogle of Quispamsis, two great grandchildren; Crew, and Cora Dort of Bermuda, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his sister Myrtle Donaldson and brothers; Raymond, and Milford Parlee.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119) with visiting on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8PM. Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 12 Quispamsis Road, Quispamsis on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 1PM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB.
