Obituary of Kerry Diane Betts

It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of Kerry Diane Betts, wife of Dana Betts, announce her passing on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Kings Way Care Centre.

 

Born in Saint John, on November 25, 1973, she was a daughter of Donald and the late Margaret (Johnstone) Hatfield. Kerry was a Nurse at the Saint John Regional Hospital in the Emergency and Neurology Department for several years. She was well known for caring and hardworking ways. Kerry enjoyed travelling, reading, country music and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

 

Besides her husband and father, Kerry is survived by her sons; Lucas and Cole, daughter Sarah, all of Quispamsis, stepdaughter Rebecca, of Halifax, NS, sisters; Tammy Hatfield, and Kelly Hatfield (Darin Penquette) both of Quispamsis, as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family.

 

The family wishes to thank Kerry’s dear friend Amanda Cormier for her support and caring ways through the years.

 

Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119) with visiting on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel at 10AM. Interment to take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Diabetes Canada.
