Obituary of Joyce Margaret Curran

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joyce M. Curran, wife of Tom Curran, announces her passing which occurred on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Joyce was born on March 27, 1945, in Hampton, NB, and was the daughter of the late Leonard and Doris (Moore) Piers.

Joyce will be remembered as a loving woman who loved to laugh with a vivacious spirit. She loved her family and was so proud of her grandchildren. Joyce was a small but feisty lady who never judged anyone and always picked up the pieces helping friends and family alike. She was a member of the Kennebecasis Quilting Guild where she loved to share her gifts for sewing with others. Joyce’s family will forever remember her smile and the easy way she made everyone feel welcomed and loved.

She is survived by her loving husband Tom; her daughters Karen Hutchison and Monica (Mitch) Fowler; her son Andrew (Shannon); and her beloved grandchildren: Quinn, Neve, Nealya, and Owen. She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers: Ronald, Doug and Robert, and three infant boys.

Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Rd. Quispamsis (849- 2119), with visitation on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 10:00-12:00 PM with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 PM. Interment will take place following the service in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Norton, NB. Donations made in memory of Joyce may be given to the charity of the donor’s choosing.
