Dear Carol & Family, Sue and I were saddened to hear of Greg's passing a few days ago. I know that my parents appreciated Greg and his ministry at Central Wickham. I also enjoyed very much the few times I was able to spend with Greg in personal fellowship. We speak of his 'passing', but it should not be in sadness, but in rejoicing, knowing that Greg has indeed passed away from this scene here on earth, and is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ . . . which is far better! And, we have the sure and certain hope, of seeing Greg again in glory when we go to be with the Lord in Heaven. 'What a day that will be'! Thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers.
Gary & Sue

I have so many memories of Greg and Carol and the whole Loosley family....from the rotten chickens in the freezer that accidentally got turned off before a summer holiday, to creating the largest Youth Group in Palmerston, to leaving to attend NBBI...Greg was an athlete, a jogger, a great coach, a friend and mentor....RIP old friend...keep your stick on the ice...

My deepest sympathy to you Carol, your girls and your family. I’m so glad I had the privilege of having Greg as my pastor while still at Central Wickham. He was so kind, caring and supportive of me, especially in my hardest times after moving out West. I could reach out to him any time and he was always there for me. I know he will be greatly missed by all who knew and love him. Now he is in heaven with his precious Saviour (and my mom who went before him in February). May God comfort you in this time of grief.

Dear Carol and Family,
Although we never had the privilege of meeting Greg it is felt that we already knew him. We knew him in a way through our dear friends Brian & Mary Hillis who esteemed Greg highly, and who so often spoke of you and Greg. He was so quick to offer a Scripture verse to us through the Hillis' a couple years ago when we were faced with a certain situation.
There have also been several people we have met who knew Greg; and, one in particular, while standing in the grocery store and tears in our eyes, told of how Greg went to him at his moment of crisis and how that Greg continued to visit and minister to him, seeing him restored to faith once again.
I thank our Lord for his own greatness, and for the way he has used Greg in ministering to others. I feel that he has ministered to me (Lorna). Carol, our hearts break for you now in this time of realizing your dear husband's absence but pray that Jesus comforts you in Spirit in knowing that he rests with the Saviour.
Blessings & Peace,
Lorna & Gary Perkins

Our deepest sympathies go out to you Carroll, Shelley, Kelly, Jerryi-lynn and families.
Greg was an unforgettable person as he immediately brought warmth and happiness from the depths of his heart to all he encountered. He exuded the love of God through his love, his kindness and his abundance of joy (john 15:11 his joy was full!). His devotion to family is something we constantly work and strive to create with our own family but will never be matched by his. Our love, prayers of peace and blessings go out to all of you. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered.
The Millburn family.
(Some people talk about wishing to be at the gates of heaven to see when others come in...hands down Greg would be ours!)

On behalf of Brooke's extended work family, know that our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. Although we did not know Greg personally, Brooke has shared many stories about Greg with us. He seemed larger than life and always had her smiling and laughing, so we are sure his big personality resonated through everyone he came in contact with. He will definitely be missed, but I'm sure Brooke will continue to share many stories about his journey.

Dear Carol and family, my sympathies to you and your family, I so enjoyed Greg’s humour, kindness, and love for the lord, my Dad Harley Murray so enjoyed Greg’s sermons at the KNH, his biggest appreciation was he could hear him. The kind words to dad the prayers brightened his day. Hold your memories dear, and know many loved him. He was one in a million, there is no replacement for Greg.

With deepest sympathy to Carol, and families. “Victory in Jesus”
“Greg Loosley” is the first thing one would hear from this great man of God and then with a firm handshake and great enthusiasm he would declare “I’m a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ”!
Oh how we loved this preacher, soon to become like brother! His love of people and willingness to go out of his way to minister to his flock as well as anyone who was in need In any way was a testimony of his love to serve God.
It did not matter the time of day or night he was always available and we experienced it first hand. His love and devotion to Carol ( the love of his life ) was abundantly evident as well as for his girls , who when he spoke of was affectionately called by “my” followed by their name!
Upon his arrival as Pastor at Central Wickham one of his first things he attended to was to apply for a licence to marry, and performed his first counselling and marriage ceremony for our Pam and Darren! This began our lifelong friendship through joyous times and deep sorrow. He challenged (and disciplined) me personally when I needed direction while pastoring as well as many times from his new home in Sussex and long Covid phone calls. Oh how we will forever miss his contagious laughter, love and wisdom.
Betty and Les

We want to send our sincere sympathy to all your family Kelly. It is always heartbreaking to lose a dad but so much easier when you know beyond a doubt that he is with Jesus, the one he loved and served for many years. His was truly a life well lived and only eternity will reveal the influence he had on so people. Please let your mom know that she is in our thoughts and prayers. My heart aches for her.

Pastor Greg will always hold a special place in my heart. He brought Kelly into my life and served as my beloved Pastor through my teen years and then eventually marrying my husband and me. He was always genuine and loved the Lord. He gave me the foundation I needed in Christ even if I didn’t know it at the time. He brought many laughs during the years I was blessed enough to know him. He will be missed but it is so wonderful to know he is with Jesus. During one of his messages years ago I remember him saying that after he met Jesus he was excited to sit down and talk with some of the great men from the bible. I picture him sitting around with these men and talking with all his enthusiasm and praising Jesus.
