Obituary of Sarah Crimmins
The death of Sarah Crimmins, wife of the late Allan C. Crimmins, occurred on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Embassy Hall, Quispamsis.
Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts on April 19, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Annie (Briggitte) Bezanson. Sarah met Allan at Mount Allison, and were happily married for 55 years. In 1970 they started Crimmins Pottery, which is still carried on today by their daughter Elizabeth. Sarah and Allan were avid boaters. Taking the family on the St. John River for weeks at a time, forming memories that would last a lifetime. Sarah enjoyed gardening, walking, and reading, she also volunteered at the Kennebecasis Valley Library.
Sarah is survived by her son Cameron (Lori) of Fredericton, daughter Elizabeth Harrison (John) of Kingston, grandchildren; Gregor, Ben, Gabby, Kate, and Sarah, sisters; Ginny Douglass, Patricia Tullock, and Ethel Souza, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In keeping with Sarah’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119).
