Dear Emma and family, my sincere condolences for your terrible loss. I am Marc lafontaine (pte-cpl) I was posted in Barrington Radar station in 1998 and was under the direction of Captain Kennedy. I worked in the canex as my first tour of duty. If you don't recognize me maybe this will help, I was the station DJ during my stay until the station was closed. In addition Captain Kennedy (Bob) had sold me his old Thunderbird which was brown in color. I am truly devasted to find out that Bob passed in 2021. I just found out by doing a search for you & Bob, as I remembered you had the bed and breakfast in Barrington. Being posted to Barrington station was the best times of my young life. I 64 now, married 2 childrens, my son Xavier and my daughter Alexya. My wife (Maryse & I ) have been married 29 years this past June. I know it's been 3 years since his death, but never forget all the good times you and your had shown to me during my stay in Barrington.
