Dear Emma and family, my sincere condolences for your terrible loss. I am Marc lafontaine (pte-cpl) I was posted in Barrington Radar station in 1998 and was under the direction of Captain Kennedy. I worked in the canex as my first tour of duty. If you don't recognize me maybe this will help, I was the station DJ during my stay until the station was closed. In addition Captain Kennedy (Bob) had sold me his old Thunderbird which was brown in color. I am truly devasted to find out that Bob passed in 2021. I just found out by doing a search for you & Bob, as I remembered you had the bed and breakfast in Barrington. Being posted to Barrington station was the best times of my young life. I 64 now, married 2 childrens, my son Xavier and my daughter Alexya. My wife (Maryse & I ) have been married 29 years this past June. If ever you wish to contact me you can email me at lafontaine.ma@videotron.ca or you can call at 819-643-4380. I am truly hurt for this great man loss to you Emma and family and grand children. I know it's been 3 years since his death, but never forget all the good times you and your had shown to me during my stay in Barrington. I am shocked because I was looking to contact Captain Kennedy to see how he was doing and yourself Emma. My god bless you and Bob for everything you did for during that time. It is extremely appreciated. All the best to you Emma and your family and may you all be well. ❤️ (Cpl) Marc Lafontaine.

So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. His contribution to the 3rd Field Artillery Regiment Band was enormous. I will always treasure his support and guidance when I became Director of Music. His experience, and insight into the administration of the band was invaluable, and was instrumental to our success. My sincerest condolences to Emma and the entire family.

Dear Emma, Kim, Dan and the Kennedy Clan,
Please accept my sincerest condolences on Bob's passing. In Bob's long years of service to our nation I was afforded the wonderful opportunity of working with not only Bob but Emma and Kim while stationed in London, England. Bob was a knowledgable, dedicated and tireless worker. He truly was a three hundred and sixty degree man with experiences in many fields acquired during his military career. His talents and leadership skills were recognized and he rose through the ranks from non commissioned officer to officer level and was subsequently awarded the Order of Military Merit. Coupled with his devoted work ethic was a loving husband and father whose sense of humor and the ability to laugh at himself was infectious. I was so fortunate to have had the opportunity of working with Bob because he helped keep me on the straight and narrow. Rest in peace old friend. We will remember you!
