I was saddened to hear of Peggy's passing. A wonderful write up in the newspaper for a truly wonderful person. I will always remember Peggy for years at camp dinner bringing her awesome rolls and a warm smile. Standing beside her over the years at the sink doing dishes, listening to her always positive views on life and wise advice is something that will live in my mind always. She was indeed a great person who's love touched everyone she came into contact with. Peggy will be missed her and loved above.

Leslie and family,
Sending condolences on the loss of your Mother. What a great obituary! My sister Maureen and I remember riding horses with you *many* years ago. She thought your Mom looked familiar, so I suspect she was an avid fan at the horse shows, perhaps even helping out. We rode out of the Rothesay Pony Club. Those were the days!
Take care at this difficult time.

Barb and I would like to offer our sincere condolences to Bruce, Lynn, and all of the extended Harding clan. I enjoyed reading the excellent write-up of a remarkable life lived, and my connection to the Hardings as next door neighbours of my Grandparents at Hammond River has always had great significance to me, as I got to know members of the family in the last few decades. My father worked on the Harding farm during the summer in the 30's and he while he only earned $12 (a huge sum at the time), he was paid $20, and he never forgot it! A wonderful life and obviously an energetic and wonderful woman! Andrew Dixon

Sorry for your loss Harding family, that was a wonderfully written obituary of your Mother. I stopped one day a few years ago when haying the fields of the Harding farm to talk to Mrs. Harding on the front porch of the farmhouse and we had a great chat about farming. I had no idea of the background story until now and it makes our chat that much more memorable. -Mike O’Brien

So sorry to hear of Peggy’s passing. Her picture says it all. Always smiling or laughing at her family and friends antics. She was always gracious and giving and I’ll remember her hot chocolate on the ski hill and lemonade after haying! Condolences to the family.
