Obituary of Muriel Ada Patience Cole

The death of Muriel Cole of Quispamsis, beloved wife of Paul Cole Sr., occurred Thursday, November 29th, 2012, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. Martins, she was the daughter of the late Dallas and Ethel (Forsythe) Hopey. Muriel absolutely adored her family and dedicated her life to caring for them. She enjoyed her time spent volunteering at St. Augustines Anglican Church, Quispamsis as a member of the A.C.W., Superintendant of Sunday School, church dinners and with the quilters. Muriel was an avid reader and loved watching Dancing With the Stars. Besides her husband, Paul, she is survived by sons, Paul Jr. (Debbie) of Quispamsis, Charles (Manon) of Saint John, David (Leslie) of Saint John; two sisters, Edith McConchie (Winslow) of Quispamsis, Trudy Burdman of Ontario; three sisters-in-law, Ardyth Otten, Mary Blenkhorn, Brenda Fancy (Charity and Cathy); two brothers-in-law, Karl Cole and Denny Blenkhorn; six grandchildren, Patience, Steven, Lindsay, Cohen, Tiana, and Canyen; two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Nancy; brother, Watson Hopey and brother-in-law, Brian Blenkhorn. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Saturday, December 1st, 2012 from 6-8 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at St. Augustines Church, Quispamsis, on Monday, December 3rd, 2012, at 11:00 AM. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held at the church hall.
