Obituary of Lindsay Ann Barbara

It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Lindsay Barbara of Quispamsis, precious wife of Luke Barbara, announce her death which occurred on Thursday, October 4, 2012, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Montreal on August 21, 1982, she was the beloved daughter of John and Sharon (Mathews) Matthews of Quispamsis. Besides her husband and parents, Lindsay is also survived by her brother, Daniel Matthews (Kathryn) of Squamish, BC; special niece, Abigail; aunt, Susan Mamo (Henry) of Kitchener, ON; cousins, Kareen, Liane and Sean; father-in-law, Alex Barbara of Saint John and brothers-in-law, Nick Barbara of Saint John and Guy Barbara of Rothesay. Lindsay was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, James and Sarah Matthews; maternal grandparents, Frederick and Agnes Mathews; as well as her uncle, Stewart Mathews. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held from the chapel of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at 2:00 PM and will be immediately followed by a reception.
