Obituary of Ryan Matthew McLaughlin
The death of Ryan McLaughlin of Quispamsis, occurred unexpectedly, as a result of a tragic ATC accident, on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011, in Pennfield. Born in Saint John on June 6th, 1987, he was the son of Rob and Marlene (Stoltz) McLaughlin of Rothesay. Ryan was employed at Point Lepreau as a Millwright and was a member of Local 2262. He loved playing the guitar....a passion he shared with his Grampy Stoltz. Ryan also enjoyed ATC biking and loved nature. Besides his parents, Ryan is also survived by his sister, Sara McLaughlin, at home; special friend, Sara Byers of Rothesay; maternal grandparents, John and Dorothy Stoltz of Rothesay; paternal grandfather, James Govereau of Saint John; several aunts and uncles; numerous cousins; special canine companion, Wyatt; as well as many dear friends. Ryan was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Doreen Govereau. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Monday from 2-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay, on Tuesday, December 6th, 2011, at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow the Mass, at the church hall. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John. For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
