Obituary of Florence Angela Page

It is with deep sadness that the family of Florence Page of Kingsway Care Centre, Quispamsis, wife of the late Clarence Page (her beloved husband for over fifty years), announce her passing on Friday, March 4th, 2011, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late John and Lois (Knowles) Hanson. Florence loved to knit and play a good game of bingo. Most of all, she loved her family and devoted her life to caring for them. Florence will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. In her younger years and throughout her married life, Florence was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was active in the Catholic Women’s League. More recently, she attended St. Mark’s Parish. Florence is survived by her only daughter, Angela Wilband and her husband Gary, who was Florence’s favourite and only son-in-law; two precious grandsons, Colin (Jacinda) and Greg (Julie); three beautiful great-grandsons, Brody, Linkin and Emery; special nephew, Greg Tracey of Florida; several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Marjorie LePine, Clarice Haney and Beatrice Tracey; as well as, three brothers, George, Albert and Arthur. Florence was the last surviving member of her immediate family. The Page family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Marion Cameron, a special friend whose kindness will never be forgotten. To the entire staff of Kingsway Care Centre, a heartfelt thank you for the excellent care that was provided to Florence. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Sunday from 5-8 PM.
