Obituary of Andrew W. Wilson

Wilson, Andrew Woodford; The death of Andrew Wilson, age 51 of Quispamsis, husband of Carole Lavigne Wilson, occurred unexpectedly on Saturday, December 18th, 2010, at their residence. Born in Woodstock, NB, he was the son of Ronald and Florence (Bell) Wilson. Andrew loved teaching his students at Rothesay Park School and Quispamsis Middle School. An avid reader, he was also a sports enthusiast and remained active in golf, tennis and hockey. Most important to Andrew was his love and pride in his family. Besides his loving wife, Carole, Andrew is survived by three children, Lee, Drew and Jessie, all at home; two sisters, Mary Lee (Rev. Bruce McKenna) of New Maryland, NB and Annette of Woodstock, NB; four brothers, Gary (Gwen) of Sandy Cove, NS, Stephen (Terry) of Woodstock, NB, Brent (Marie) of Riverview, NB and Kent of Woodstock, NB; many nieces and nephews. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119 with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010, at 2:00 PM, St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis. Interment will take place in Jackson Falls, Carleton County, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be accepted at the funeral home, which will be used to establish an “Education Trust Fund” for Andrew’s children.
