Obituary of Leonard DeVeau

The death of Allan DeVeau of Quispamsis, husband of Vicki (Lennon) DeVeau, occurred, unexpectedly, as a result of a tragic workplace accident, on Thursday, December 9th, 2010, in Saint John, at the age of 44. Born in Blacks Harbour, he was the son of Frances (Golden) DeVeau and the late Leonard Allan DeVeau. Allan was employed in the construction industry and was a loyal employee of MacDonald Applicators Ltd. in Saint John. His true passion in life was his family. He had so many wonderful memories of his time spent with those he loved, especially his precious children. His boys will always remember their father as loving, awesome and truly dedicated. Besides his loving wife, Vicki, Allan is also survived by his children, Devin and Darin DeVeau, both at home and A.J. Telesnicki of Hampton; mother, Frances DeVeau of Lake Utopia; brother, Robert DeVeau of Saint John; mother and father-in-law, Wendy (Wheaton) and Mike Lennon; sisters-in-law, Misty Lennon (Gordie McMillan), Lindsay Gamblin (Trevor) and Ashley Landry (Mark), all of Quispamsis; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Sunday from 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 13th, 2010, at 11:00 AM, from the chapel of Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home.
