Obituary of Marilyn Ruby Hogan

Marilyn Ruby (Davis) Hogan of Quispamsis, NB (born in Carbonear, NL) passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Tuesday, November 30th, 2010, at the age of 54. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, John; her daughter, Melissa of St. John’s, NL; her mother, Florence (Homer) Davis of Carbonear, NL; brothers and sisters, Jim, Rob, Gary, Brenda, Heather, Greg, Wendy and Suzette; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Jim Davis. Marilyn worked for 34 years with Community Mental Health in Saint John. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506) 849-2119, where the family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis on Friday, December 3rd, 2010, at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place in Carbonear, NL, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
