Obituary of Clinton Curtis Cosman
The death of Clint Cosman of Quispamsis, formerly of the Kingston Peninsula, occurred Saturday, September 4th, 2010, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born May 13th, 1936 on the Kingston Peninsula, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Brentha (McLean) Cosman. Clint was a skillful carpenter by trade. He was very proud to be born and raised on the Peninsula, where he had many fond memories of his time spent puttering away on his land, at his sawmill and simply enjoying the beauty of nature. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and music. For those who knew him, Clint could be described as “the happiest man you would ever meet.” Clint is survived by four children, Bruce Cosman (Shelly) and Stephen Cosman (Patricia), both of Calgary, Karen Johnson (Stephen) of Quispamsis and Gail Marsh (Eddie) and their mother, Eleanor (Fracker) Cosman, both of Miramichi; two sisters, Gloria Holland of Hampton and Gwen Moody of the Kingston Peninsula; seven brothers, Darrel (Fran), Eddie, Wayne, Andrew, all of the Kingston Peninsula, Kemys (Ivy) and Theodore, both of Norton and Ansley (Carol) of Ontario; six grandchildren, Kayla, Sarah and Dylan Johnson, Payton and Emmitt Marsh and Noah Kilpatrick; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Dorothy; six brothers, Cecil, Ralph, Carl, DeVern, Roland and Francis; as well as, one grandson, Curtis Marsh. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held from the chapel of Kennebecasis Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 7th, 2010, at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in Kingston Baptist Cemetery.
