Obituary of Edward Joseph Cusack

After a courageous battle with lung cancer, Edward Joseph Cusack “Sam” of Saint John, NB passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 18, 2010. Sam was born in 1927, son of the late Edward J. and Ann (McManus) Cusack. He is survived by his companion/sister-in-law, Noel Cusack, Saint John; one daughter, Charlotte Ann (Nicholas) Prizrenac, ON; granddaughter, Courtney and grandson Logan, ON; one brother, Bernard (Elizabeth) Cusack, NS; and several nieces and nephews. Sam was predeceased by his brother Thomas F. Cusack, Saint John. A very special thank you is extended to Dr. Donald Craig, the Staff of Kennebecasis Extra Mural, the Palliative Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Monsignor Brian Sheehan and Rev. William Phillips for their tremendous support during this time. In accordance with Sam’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A private family funeral will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506) 849-2119.
