Obituary of Dorothy Jean Conley

In her 91st year, Dot Conley passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 8, 2010. Dot was born on June 2, 1920 in Truro, NS, the only child of Allison and Ella Lynds. Married to Arthur Conley in 1948, they had one child, David. After moving to Fairvale, NB, Dot worked at the Netherwood School for Girls and the Saint John School Board. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Legion Branch 58. Dot and Art were members of the Beaus and Belles Square Dance Group and taught ballroom dance for many years in the Saint John area. Dot is survived by her son David (Holly Savage) and her grandson Scott Conley. She was predeceased by Arthur in 1997. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119 with visitation taking place from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 10, 2010, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
