Obituary of Richard Garfield Watts

The death of Dick Watts of Rothesay, NB, husband of Faith (Green) Watts, occurred Saturday, May 15th, 2010, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Sarah (Williamson) Watts. Dick loved the outdoors and had many fond memories of his time spent hunting, fishing and going to his camp with family and friends. Most of all, Dick loved his family, especially his precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will always remember their grandfather as playful and loving. Dick will be missed dearly by his family and will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Besides he loving wife, Faith, Dick is also survived by four daughters, Deborah Michaels of Rothesay, Diane Olsen (Allan) of Saint John, Cindy Donnelly of Quispamsis and Karen Watts, at home; one son, Richard T. Watts (Sharon) of Quispamsis; two sisters, Myrna Williams and Dale Evans (Donald) both of Rothesay; one brother, John Watts of Salisbury; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several cousins. Dick was predeceased by one brother, James Watts. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at Kings Way Assembly, 7 Kings Way Drive, Quispamsis, on Wednesday, May 19th, 2010, at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow the interment, at the church hall.
