Obituary of Robin Frederick Wall
Robin F. Wall of Quispamsis passed away peacefully at the Ridgewood Veteran’s Centre on Friday, May 14, 2010. Robin was a Veteran of World War II, serving overseas in Belgium and Holland. He was also a proud CNR worker for 42 years, ending his career as an engineer. Robin was born on April 7, 1921 in Saint John, a son of the late Frederick M. and Fanny E. (Codner) Wall, and was the loving husband of 56 years of the late M. Pearl (Beck) Wall. Rob is survived by sisters-in-law Myrtle Parcels of Milton, Ontario, Frances Ricketts and Inez Beck of Saint John, and cousin Fred Codner of Hampton, as well as a large extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Douglas Wall. Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119), with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM from the Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a reception at the funeral home’s Reception Centre. Interment will take place privately in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Ridgewood Comfort Fund or any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family, in lieu of flowers. The members of the Royal Canadian Legion will gather on Monday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home for a Veteran’s Tribute service.
