Obituary of Brenda Ruth Winchester
It is with great sadness that the family of Brenda Winchester of Quispamsis, NB, wife of Glenn Winchester, announce her sudden passing on Saturday, April 3rd, 2010, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Harvey Station, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alton and Isabel (Hood) MacMullin. Besides her husband, Glenn, Brenda is also survived by her two sons, Derek (Yelena) of Saint John and Shaun (Ji Eun) of South Korea; one precious grandson, Nazariy; three sisters, Joan Leclair (Gary) of Sudbury, Ontario, Janet Liritte (Leon) of Fredericton and Alta Henry (Neil) of Harvey Station; one brother, Martin MacMullin (Saundra) of Harvey Station and several nieces and nephews. As well as her parents, Brenda was also predeceased by one sister in infancy, Judith and one brother-in-law, Dale Cleghorn. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held from the Chapel of Kennebecasis Funeral Home on Thursday, April 8th, 2010, at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens, Saint John. For those who wish, donations in memory of Brenda may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
