Obituary of Gregory James Bangay
The death of Greg Bangay of Saint John, NB, formerly of Quispamsis, NB, occurred, unexpectedly, as a result of a motor vehicle accident, on Wednesday, December 30th, 2009, at the age of 31. Born in Saint John, he was the son of Donald and Brenda (Atkins) Bangay. Besides his parents, Greg is also survived by two sisters, Dana Hainbuch (Chris) of Toronto, ON and Lou-Anne Wolfe (Calvin) of Summerside, PEI; one brother and best friend, Paul Bangay of Rothesay; four nieces, Morgan and Daryn Hainbuch, Rebecca and Emily Wolfe; one nephew, Kurtis Wolfe; several aunts and uncles; as well as, many cousins. Gregory was predeceased by maternal grandparents, James and Zilla Atkins; paternal grandparents, Robert and Mildred Bangay; aunt, Shirley Whitehouse and uncle, Leo Atkins. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Sunday from 1-4 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay, on Monday, January 4th, 2010, at 1:30 PM. A reception will follow the Mass, at the church hall. Interment will take place in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Rothesay.
