Obituary of Otis Michael Mosher

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otis “Mike” Mosher of Rothesay, NB, husband of Patricia (Snyder) Mosher, which occurred Thursday, September 10th, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Halifax, NS, he was the son of the late Otis and Edna (Pratt) Mosher. Mike was self-employed with rental properties. He enjoyed boating, traveling and was a devoted baseball and hockey fan. However, his real passion in life was spending time with his family and friends. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Besides his wife Patricia, Mike is also survived by his daughter, Marilyn Mosher of Saint John; two sisters, Marsha Butler (Charles) of ON and Marinna Morrison (Bob) of NS; one brother, Gary Mosher (Debbie) of NS; sister-in-law, Paula Mann (Stephen Conrod) of NS; brother-in-law, Mike Snyder (Sharon) of NS; father-in-law, Harold Snyder of NS; many nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; as well as, his faithful companion, Teiko the cat. Besides his parents, Mike was also predeceased by his son, David and mother-in-law Molly. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held from Kennebecasis Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 14th, 2009, at 11:00 AM. A reception will be held immediately following the service, at the funeral home. Following cremation, a private interment will take place. Mike’s family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the nurses, doctors and patient support workers of 4C North, 5C North and MICU, for the excellent care and support they provided.
