Obituary of Eunice Wilson
The death of Eunice Wilson of the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre, Hampton, NB, formerly of Quispamsis, NB, wife of the late Donald Wilson, occurred Friday, August 7th, 2009, at her residence. Born 1920 in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Seth James and Sarah Ann (MacDonald) Holt. Eunice is survived by two daughters, Donna Marshall (Robert) of Dartmouth, NS and Janice Kelly (Burton) of Quispamsis; son-in-law, Weston Barton of Hampton; three sisters, Eileen Appleton (Art) and Elsie Peters (Len), both of Fredericton and Audrey Suttie of Saint John; sisters-in-law, Isabel Holt and Doreen Holt, both of Saint John; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Nancy Barton; one son in infancy, Ronald; one sister, Ethel Butland and four brothers, James, Malcolm, William and Jack Holt; two sisters-in-law, Chris Holt and Elsie Holt and four brothers-in-law, Harold Suttie, Harry Taylor, Rod Shaw and Arthur Butland. Eunice worked with her husband in the family grocery store, Wilson's Food Market, in Forest Hills. Later she was employed by Woolco in Loch Lomond Mall and Zellers in the Parkway Mall. Eunice was a member of Rothesay Baptist Church and was a participant in their Club 60 and Gals and Pals programs. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held from Kennebecasis Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 11th, 2009, at 11:30 AM, officiated by Rev. Greg Gray and Rev. John Tremblett, grandsons-in-law of the deceased. A reception will be held immediately following the service, at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, Saint John. Eunice’s family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to her extended family, the entire staff of the Dr. V.A.
