Obituary of Walter Theodore Chestnut

The death of Ted Chestnut of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Connie (Beyea) Chestnut, occurred Monday, November 3rd, 2008, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Cornhill, NB, he was the son of the late Sarah Chestnut. Besides his wife, Connie, Ted is also survived by one daughter, Vivian Goodwin (David); three sons, John (Bev), Timothy (Elaine) and Paul, all of Quispamsis; one brother, Doug Alward (Lynn) of Rothesay; two sisters, Isabel Wanamaker and Irene Morrison (Craig); six grandchildren, Jessica and Dennis Goodwin, Tara, Erica, Rachel and Kate Chestnut; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Dorothy MacDonald and one brother, Ralph McPhee. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held from Kennebecasis Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, November 6th, 2008, at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens, Saint John.
