Obituary of Margaret P. Pollock
Margaret P. (Roberts) Pollock, wife of the late John S. Pollock. Born in Fairvale, NB on April 16th, 1921, daughter of the late Walter and Mary (McAleer) Roberts. Margaret had spent her married life in Quispamsis and was living in Smith’s Creek at the time of her death. Margaret loved to go to Bingo, playing cards and she thoroughly loved family gatherings. Margaret is survived by three sons, Harold of Smith’s Creek, NB, William (Lois) of Carvel, AB and Scott of Quesnel, BC; one daughter, Mary (Charles) Byers of Penobsquis, NB; one brother, Guilford (Melva) Roberts of the Gondola Point Road; one brother-in-law, Art Pollock; one sister-in-law, Kay Herrington; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Cyril and John Pollock; one great-grandson, Cody Byers; one daughter-in-law, Sandy, two sisters and six brothers. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506) 849-2119. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Monday, February 11th, 2008, at 11:00 am, from Kennebecasis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens, Saint John. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or Canadian Cancer Society.
