Obituary of Erma Bergeron
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Erma Bergeron of Renforth. She passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on her 76th birthday. She was born in Gondola Point, daughter of the late Herb and Carrie (Dann) Saunders and was a long time Renforth resident. Grammar, as she is affectionately known by all who knew her, adored her children, her grandchildren and all sports they were involved with. She was a founding member of KV Minor Ball and was known for her baseball and hockey cakes and cupcakes. She was the epitome of what a mother and grandmother should be. She was an avid gardener, an antique collector, a sailing enthusiast and was previously employed with the YMCA and St. Paul’s Anglican Church. She is survived by her children, Pam Vincent (David), Gondola Point, Henri (Cindy), Kibber, Jeff of Renforth, and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeffrey, and Michael. She is also survived by her brother Bob Saunders, Gondola Point, sisters Vera Stephenson, Quispamsis, Inez Parsons, Port Graville, NS, sister-in-law Barb Mabey, Gondola Point, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her first husband Douglas Parker and her second husband Serge Bergeron. She is also predeceased by her brother Ken Saunders and her sisters, Helen Wilson and Olive Saunders. Special thanks to her sister-in-law and dear friend Barb Mabey who was very supportive of Grammar and her family in countless ways. We also extend special thanks to Bill, Gina, Carol Anne, Terry, Lisa , all of the other Extra Mural team members.
