Obituary of Muriel Kathleen Miller

The death of Muriel K. Miller of the Loch Lomond Villa, formerly of Rothesay, NB, occurred at her residence, on Friday, December 1st, 2006. Born in Rothesay, she was the daughter of the late George and Katherine (Darcus) Miller. Before retiring, Muriel was employed with NB Tel for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Rothesay, the ACW, NB Tel Pioneers, and had formerly been a member of the Riverside Golf and Country Club. She enjoyed reading, golfing and spending time with her many friends. Muriel is survived by four sisters, Audrey Pooley of Saint John, Betty Miller, Joan Byers and Helen Withrow, all of Rothesay; one brother, Arthur Miller of Rothesay; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Connie Miller and Phyllis Lamb; and three brothers, Usher, Harry and Jordan. At the request of the family, no visitation will be held. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, December 5th, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from Kennebecasis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date.
