Obituary of Jacqueline Anne Davidson

The death of Jacqueline Davidson, wife of Michael Brian Davidson occurred on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at her home in Quispamsis with her family at her bedside. Born on September 27, 1977 at St. Rita Hospital in Sydney, N.S. Jacqueline graduated with honours from KV High School, Quispamsis in 1995; graduated from UNBSJ with B.Sc. in 1999; studied linguistics at Dalhousie University 2000; a graduate in nuclear medicine technology at NBCC, 2004, Jackie was employed at the Saint John Regional Hospital in the nuclear medicine department. Jacqueline is survived by her husband Mike Davidson; parents Thomas (Tom) and Barbara (Leger) Roberts, Quispamsis; two sisters Mary Margaret Roberts (Peter), Saint John, Christine Elizabeth Roberts (Jared McNeill), Saint John; nephew Matthew Thomas Roberts; mother and father-in-law Betty and Robert Davidson, Springfield; brother-in-law Andrew Davidson, Saint John; aunts Betty Knowles (Dan), Thunder Bay, Judy Roberts, Thunder Bay, Mary Joyce, Quispamsis, Jeanne d’Arc Majeski, Boston, Carol McFee, Ottawa; uncles Peter Leger, Kingston Peninsula, Roger Leger, Moncton, John Leger, Quispamsis, James Leger, Kitchener, and their spouses. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (506) 849-2119, with visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, at 10:00am. A reception will be held in the church basement immediately following the service. Interment will take place in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, Chapel Grove at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Jacqueline will be appreciated.
