Obituary of Ronald Gregory Maloney

The death of Ron Maloney of Quispamsis, NB, husband of Arlene (Sinclair) Maloney, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, May 19th, 2006. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Frank and Emily (Hurley) Maloney. Ron is survived by two daughters, Sharon McVicar (Jim) of Quispamsis and Carolyn Rice (Rob) of Kingston, ON; two sons, Ron (Sherri) of Priddis, AB and Paul of Canmore, AB; three brothers, Joseph of Mississauga, ON, Jerome (Inez) of Oshawa, ON and John (Evelyn) of Halifax, NS; one sister-in-law, Mary Maloney of Montreal, QC; six grandchildren, Tricia and Laura Maloney, Jennifer and Jonathan McVicar, Chantal and Alex Rice; one great granddaughter, Grace Maloney; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister, Phyllis Leahey and two brothers, Francis and Gerard. Resting at Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB (849-2119) with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 24th, 2006 from St. Mark's Catholic Church, Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, at 11:00 AM. Following cremation a private interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation.
